Field trips will be organized throughout the year.
For all field trips
if the forecast is not conducive to good photography, we will notify people by group email of cancellations and, if possible, reschedule to a subsequent day.

2025 – 2026 Field trips
- October 16, 2025 3:00 p.m. – Marine Museum of Manitoba (Selkirk Ship Museum) The museum is closed, but there is lots to photograph outside.
- November 2, 2025 6:00 p.m. – Basilica, Provence Bridge, and The Forks. To do a night time after dark photoshoot with tripods. Meet on Tache in front of the Basilica
- December 5, 2025 9:00 a.m. – Assiniboine Park Zoo to photograph wolves and other animals. This is a great place to practice focusing through fences on moving animals.
- February 21, 2025 6:00 p.m. – Royal Aviation Museum
- March 15, 2026 CANCELLED – Winnipeg Beach area. Ice fishing and Bald Eagles.
- April 25, 2026 – Place and time TBA. Wild Prairie Crocuses when the Crocuses appear.
