The Winnipeg South Photo Club (WSPC) was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1983 to provide an opportunity for persons interested in photography to meet on a regular basis.
The objective of the club is to provide an educational and recreational program for the benefit of its members with emphasis placed on the art of photography in a non-competitive atmosphere. The educational portion of the program consists of presentations by guest speakers, question and answer sessions by club members, and image reviews. Field trips are held on a regular basis for both educational and recreational purposes. Basic photographic techniques are part of the clubs regular program in order to accommodate beginning photographers as well as to refresh the memory of the more experienced photographers. Prospective new members are welcome to attend a meeting prior to becoming a member.
Each month from September to May meetings are usually held on the 1st Wednesday, 3rd Wednesday , and last Wednesday. Refer to the calendar link for dates, location, and whether meeting is in person or online.
