“Camera Lens, What’s New” (Bram Singleton)

November 19 at 7:30

Photography has been a life-long pursuit for Bram. He has been immersed fully in that world for over fifteen years. He received his Diploma of Professional Photography from what was formally known as PrairieView School of Photography.  He has worked as a professional photographer, taught at both casual and diploma levels. He is currently a visual artist working primarily with photography.

Please join Bram for a discussion of modern lens designs and features. From extremely bright zooms to longer constant aperture lenses, and even niche features like bokeh control, modern lens design has opened up new creative possibilities for lens makers to build and photographers to create with. I’ll bring along an assortment of Canon, Sony, and Nikon lenses and touch on the design trends, what’s new on the market, and how it can open up new tools for photography.
