Members enjoyed a riveting presentation by Pierre Richard. Pierre is a biologist and naturalist who has always loved travel and the outdoors. He took up photography in the late 1990s, mainly to document his travels and wildlife observations, and became more ambitious in his composition after reading about photography and attending WSPC meetings.  Pierre particularly enjoys bird photography and creating images of dramatic landscapes.  The presentation illustrated several of his Arctic trips as a researcher or on small expedition ships where he worked as a guide.
