Although only 20 miles from Europe, across the narrowest point of the Straits of Gibraltar, Morocco could be on the other side of the world for the completely different cultural experience it offers. Explore (discover) the historic medina of Marrakech, the relaxed Atlantic port town of Essaouira and a hike up to a Berber Village for lunch with a family in the High Atlas Mountains.
Ed Sawatzky has been a member of the WSPC for 21 years. He rediscovered this art form after taking a creative photography course at Photo Central back in 1999. Ed enjoys landscape, nature, wildlife, travel and street photography. This trip to Morocco occurred as an add-on to his Portugal trip in the spring of 2018.
