Pierre is a marine biologist who spent 39 years raveling the Arctic and recently the Antarctic as a researcher and also as an expedition guide.  He is an avid photographer, naturalist, and traveler, enjoying tropical and sub-tropical countries when not in the Polar Regions, especially to photograph birds and other wildlife. He also enjoys landscape and street photography.  Recently, he visited New Zealand and Australia and will be presenting a photo-essay of the areas he was able to see.
