A WSPC Field Trip is being organized for the Festival du Voyageur, Voyageur Park on Saturday, February 17th. This long standing winter festival presents many photographic opportunities in Voyageur Park ranging from ice sculptures, music performers, and the historical Fort Gibraltar.
Details are as follows:
- Saturday February 17th, Club meets @ 1 pm by the admission area.
- Members are responsible to purchase their own ticket; Single day price is $25, and $15 for seniors (60+).
- Early ticket purchase is encouraged since there will be a limited amount of Adult Day tickets issued to the Voyageur Park for each day.

Please be advised that the official WSPC field trip to the Festival du Voyageur, Voyageur Park has been cancelled for Feb 17th.
However I do encourage you to partake in some of the activities both in the Voyageur Park and surrounding venues. Festival program can found on this link:

This long week-end, there are also free activites at The Forks including the Mardi Gras parade on the afternoon of Saturday Feb 17 along the Assiniboine River Trail starting behind the Leg at 3:30 pm and making their way to the “RENDEZ-VOUS ON ICE” at the Forks. The event is weather dependent so do check jazzwinnipeg.com in the morning before heading down.

On Monday, there is also the “Wild Winter Canoe Race” at the Forks on Monday Feb 19th at noon, which should prove to be interesting.
